Dear members we are opening the Mandir on 10/01/22 to perform Ganesha Pooja from 5.30 to 6.30 pm. Fruit prasad is welcome.

Volunteers Needed: Rota Duty

We are looking for volunteers (rota duty officers) to manage the opening and closing of the Mandir on Saturdays and Sundays, from 4.30 pm to 7.00 pm. You will be given a set of keys and instructions on opening and closing the Mandir. 
The rota duty officer will bring prasadam for the aarti at 6.15 pm.

Hawan (Vedic) to raise funds for the Hindu Mandir

In the quiteness of your home with family and friends.

Myself and Mrs Hamlesh Soni has decided to do Hawan at your home to raise funds for the Hindu Mandir in Ipswich. We will bring the Hawan kund and books.

Details are listed below:-
1. Small Hawan, lasting for a hour. fees charged £31.00
2. Big Hawan, lasting for about two hours. Fees charged £51.00

You will provide ghee, woodsticks, hawan samgree (we can buy this for additional fees of £25.00) and samolina prasad & cooked foods for offering and for sharing with family and friends. You will enjoy the spiritiual atmosphere by participating in the Hawan.
We will perform Hawan on Saturdays and Sundays in late morning say at 11.30 or at early afternoon around 2.00 pm

Membership fees

The annual membership fees as follows:

Single membership:  £10.00
Family membership:  £25.00
Life membership:       £500.00

It was also agreed that members be encouraged to set up SOM per month for the sustainment of the IHS Community Center & Mandir and towards the payment of Monthly rental and service charge.

You are welcome to sponsor all Hindu festivals & celebrations at the Mandir for £31.00 + prasadam for offering to deities.
You are also welcome to sponsor for £31.00 + prasadam any special event you would like to organise at the Mandir or being organised by the Ipswich Hindu Samaj Management Committee e.g. Ganesh Jayanti (5 or 7 or 11 days event) or during the Navraatri Celebrations for nine days etc.

Mandir Opening Hours :

Mandir will be open on every Saturdays & Sundays from 4.30pm - 7pm and Aarti at 6.15pm
